Darlene Barbara Desjarlais

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Great-Grandma, Grandmother, Mother, Wife, Sister, Aunt and Sister-in-law, after a brief illness. Barbara was born on August 9, 1942 and raised in Fort Qu’Appelle, SK. She passed away at the Regina General Hospital on October 4, 2022 with family by her side. 

She was predeceased by her parents Joseph Leo and Mary Louise Desjarlais; her Brothers Albert, Fred, Tony, Ronald, JayDee, Raymond, James, Ken and Butch; her Sisters Elizabeth, Margaret, and Delphine; Daughter Dianne; Stepson Sandy and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Barb is survived by her Husband, Harold Bray; Son Raymond (Norma) Desjarlais, Daughter Rhonda (Ab) Van der Breggen; Son-in-law Mark Kayter and Stepsons Blaine (Randy) and Grant (Mario) Bray; Brother Leonard (Shirley) Desjarlais and Sister Grace Racette; Grandchildren Chrystah (Cory), Jillian, Ashley (Kevin), Reece, Steven (Josie), Kelsie (Jordy), Austin, Rebecca and their families. 

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lebret, Saskatchewan. Interment in Fort Qu’Appelle Cemetery, Fort Qu’Appelle, SK. Special thanks to the medical staff of Regina General Hospital Unit 3E for the great palliative care she received. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
