DEBRA LUVONE KONKEL

July 24, 1954 – May 3, 2026

It is with loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Debra Konkel, who passed away on May 3, 2026, in Regina, Saskatchewan,  at the age of 71.

Debra was born on July 24, 1954 in Andalusia, Alabama,  to Richard and Martha Ann Parker. She grew up in Baker, Florida.

Debra will be lovingly remembered by her husband Larry Konkel, her children Jeremy (Rachelle), Shanna, Jordan(Julie), her brother Bobby Parker and our special family friend Susan. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren Jace, Jasper, Arthur, Landon, Leland, Lukas, and Logan. She loved with all her heart. 

She was predeceased by both of her parents Richard and Martha, her sister Clara Jo and her brothers, Billy and Jeff. 

There will be no funeral at Deb's request. A celebration of life to take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saskatoon Children's Hospital in Debra's memory.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to all the nurses and doctors at the General hospital for their support and care. Especially the nurses in MICU for providing amazing care and compassion right to the end.
