John Hugh Davies

DAVIES, John Hugh June 23, 2022   John Hugh Davies who passed away in Calgary on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at age 76. Born in Saskatchewan, he moved with his parents to Armstrong, BC. After graduation, he joined the Canadian Air Force and later, transferred to the US Air Force. Soon, he was deployed to Vietnam where he served as a medic, attaining the rank of Captain. After 18 years of service, he returned to Canada. He worked on the Pipelines, in Construction, & for Parks Canada. John was predeceased by his parents, Herbert & Ella Davies of Armstrong, BC. A Private Graveside Service was held at Crossfield Cemetery. In his memory, donations may be made to Rosedale Hospice (920 - 7a St NW, Calgary, AB, T2M 3J4), the Canadian Cancer Society (200 – 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 2P5), or The Canadian Legion. He will be forever missed!
