David "Larry" Marwick

David “Larry” Marwick, age 73, of Wadena, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, in Regina, Saskatchewan with family by his side. 

Larry was born on February 13, 1953, in Wadena to Shirley Marwick and William Marwick. In 1985, he met Carol, and together they built a life filled with love and family, raising two children, Nathan and Erica.

Larry was predeceased by his father, William Marwick, and his stepfather, Ted Hall. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Shirley Marwick-Hall; his devoted wife, Carol; his children, Nathan and Erica (Steve); and his cherished grandchildren, Jaxx Marwick, Kyla Fayant, and Verra McWilliams.

Larry dedicated many years of service to the Co-op Refinery, where he worked as a dispatcher. He was also deeply involved in his church community, contributing his time and talents to the puppetry ministry and technical team. In his free time, Larry enjoyed playing pool with friends at the Senior Centre, as well
as smoking meat and baking bread to share with those around him.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Pasqua Hospital’s Allan Blair Cancer Centre, as well as Unit 5D, for their compassionate care.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Westhill Park Baptist Church, 8025 Sherwood Drive, Regina, Saskatchewan, on April 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Larry’s memory may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, the Regina Seniors Centre, or Westhill Park Baptist Church.
