It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Darlene Joyce Dinu (née Hille) on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at the age of 81.

Predeceased by her loving husband Bill, parents Harry and Julia Hille, and her brother Raymond Hille. Darlene is survived by her son William Dinu and daughter Jeni (John) Boesch, grandchildren Nick, Meg, Katie, Lucie, Ellen and Olivia, sister in laws Ruth Mock and Pauline Hille, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Some of Darlene’s favorite pastimes included sewing, cooking and complaining.

A huge thank you to Cathy and Mark MacFadden, their children and the staff at Majestic Manor for taking such good care of Darlene over the past few years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall St., Regina, SK, on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 10:00 am with lunch to follow.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan.

Messages of Condolence

Dear Will, after years of hearing stories of your mom and dad, I felt like I knew them personally. I met your mom a few times and could tell she was a strong, fun and energetic woman. Your stories about her and your dad, and later, just her, had me either crying or laughing hysterically. You were an absolutely amazing son who knew how lucky he got in the parent lottery and did all you could to help and love them like they had helped and loved you. Mom's are irreplaceable, but because of her, you are the kind and funny man you are today. (Hugs)
