1938 – 2021

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert Leroy Dann on Friday, January 15, 2021 just days before his 83rd birthday. Bob enjoyed many happy years spent curling, riding horses, and having adventures on the open road. Bob always held a special place in his heart for the farm he grey up on near Vulcan, Alberta. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Rose-Marie Dann; his daughters, Sandra (Frank) and Eva (Sheldon), along with their mother Neola; and his stepdaughters, Kathy (Jeff) and Linda (Phil). He celebrated the births of several grandchildren and greta-grandchildren who will always lovingly remember him as ‘Papa’. He was predeceased by sons, David and Arthur; stepson, Clayton; and grandson, Anthony.

The family would like to send a big heartfelt Thank You to the wonderful staff at the Bethany Riverview for their compassionate care.

Bob had a big heart and loved everyone passionately. He always visited those elders who had mobility issues and cared for many. His hugs were as big as the sky and one knew you were loved. I will miss those hugs.
