November 9, 1952 – January 15, 2018

Danny passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Sarcee Hospice in Calgary at the age of 65 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Elena; sons, Daniel (Laura) and William; daughter, Susan (Neil); granddaughters, Elizabeth, Angel, Izzabella and Lillian; brother, Bob (Janice); sisters, Gwen and Laura; nephews, Ruby and Shawn; nieces, Destiny, Marnie, Theressa, Leslie and Steven; great nephew, Aidan; great nieces, Breanne, Lauren, Cole, Jorga and Ally; as well as extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Danny’s Life will be held at a later date.

Messages of Condolence

Uncle Dan, I would like to thank you for the love and the precious moments you spent with us here in the Philippines. I thank you for loving my aunt Elena and being part of her life. Thank you for the generosity you've shown to us especially for the effort of sending me there, even though it did not work in our favor. I'm sorry I couldn't be with you when you needed me the most. I know it addends to your stress when they rejected our application. Maybe there's a reason for everything. Though it saddens me that you are no longer with us, somehow it lifted the pain of losing you knowing that your in God's hand now. That you are already free from the pain and suffering of your illness. Watch over us here especially aunt Elena. On behalf of your family here in the Philippines, we will be missing you Uncle Dan.
