Helen Muriel Crichton (nee Lawrence)

Muriel passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the age of 86 years. She will be sadly missed, but lovingly remembered by her son; Gary, daughter; Norma (Robert) Riley and their children; Jennifer (Jason) Sovka and Laura (Ryan) Betts, great grandchildren; Liam, Jason, Zech, Madeline and Everett, one sister; Brenda Lawrence, as well as many extended family and friends. Muriel is predeceased by her husband; Alan and her son; Bruce. Muriel will be remembered as a vivacious, fun-loving lady, always leaving laughter in her wake. A Memorial Service will be held at First Church of the Nazarene, 2 McVicar St., Red Deer, AB on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Muriel may be made to Loaves and Fishes Benevolent Society, 6002 – 54th Ave., Red Deer, AB T4N 4M8.

I will remember Muriel always as being a real HOOT. It was always a fun time when she would stop by at the mini mart in the Pines....she just lit up a room with that big spark in her.........We will treasure our memories of Muriel..........like when Nick took us for a drive out to Caroline and bought us these ice creams cones that where almost as big as Muriel....it was so hot out and they were melting but we managed not to lose a drop. We both send our heartfelt sympathy to you Gary and Norma and family at this difficult time. It was a pleasure of knowing your Mom xo
