It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Denise Georgina Crawford. Denise fought a brief, but courageous, battle with cancer before passing away in Calgary at the age of 58.

Denise had a deep passion for being active in nature. She found joy in swimming, hiking, kayaking, painting, and travel. Denise was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, but took her greatest pride in being the best possible Nana to her two young granddaughters.She loved to introduce her grandchildren to fun new activities and places. Denise worked hard throughout her life and possessed a fearless ambition. She also exuded a love for silliness, play, and adventure.

Denise is fondly remembered by her daughter, Leanne (Jon); granddaughters, Olivia and Charlotte; father, JD Crawford; sisters, Christine and Julia (Olaf); niece, Natalie, and nephew, Errol. Denise is predeceased by her mother, Rosheen Crawford, and brother, Jim Crawford.

Family are planning an intimate Celebration of Denise’s Life to take place at a later date.
