Born May 14, 1937 St. Boniface, Manitoba

On August 26th, 2019 in Black Diamond, Alberta, Joan departed onto her next journey.  Joan leaves behind her loving family and friends, she was an inspiration to all that knew her, she encouraged us all to live our best lives with a positive outlook. Mother to D’Arcy-Lynn, Darlene and Jody; dear Gran, to Karley (Taylor), Shelby (Denver), Rachel, Rylen and Jillian; lovingly remembered by her devoted twin sister, June; niece, Cathy and nephew, Christopher. Bryce and Ann Cox, extended family and many friends and her bridge buddies, will dearly miss her. Infant son, Peter Gerald; mother, Lorena and father, Stan Schram predeceased Joan. At Joan’s request no services will held. Family will gather to spread her ashes, as she desired and to Celebrate her Life.
