August 5, 1988 – December 13, 2016

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Devin Corley, beloved son of Richard and Karen Corley, sister Vanessa Corley, fiancé Jerrika Jewel , her parents Tracey and Derrick Russell, sisters Jessica and Jadden. Devin passed away peacefully in his sleep at age 28. His absence will be forever missed by all his family and friends.

He will be missed by his loving extended family Aunt Vicki and Uncle Dale Williams, Aunt Jane and Uncle Colin Spence, Aunt Marcy and Uncle Brian Eddy, Aunt Cindy Crawford and Tim Hennessy, Aunt Joanne Dunn, Uncle Mike Dunn and cousin Tiffany Dunn, cousins Andrew Corley, Jesse Crawford, Ashley Crawford, Brittiney Crawford, Kari Anne Arbuckle and Jamie Gibb and numerous second cousins. Devin was predeceased by his loving grandmothers, Joan Corley (Grammie) and Joyce Dunn (Grandmother) and grandfather, Victor Corley (Papa).

Devin was a kind, thoughtful, big hearted, loving soul who is loved and treasured by his family and friends. Devin had his Journeyman Welding Certificate. His hobbies included hockey, dodgeball and gaming with his friends. The greatest joy was his impending marriage to Jerricka. His young life was cut far too short when he had so much to offer in his life. We all remember Devin with a big happy smile. Devin was a loving son, fiancé, brother, cousin and friend.

A Celebration of his Life will be held Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Daybreak Community Church, 2140 Yankee Valley Blvd, Airdrie, AB. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services, Airdrie, AB from 6:00 – 8:00pm.
