I wish I had had more of a chance to know and visit with Aunt Peg. She loved you all so much and I know that she felt secure and loved every moment of her life. Much love to you all.

I never understood loss until it came to you leaving mom. I think of you everyday and have picked up the phone countless times to talk with you. I know you are watching over us and I feel so lucky to have been your daughter and to have you as my mom - to love and be there for me whenever I needed you. Peg, almost 15 years ago we came in to each other's lives. And in that time you have welcomed me with open and loving arms. Over the years we became closer and closer and I miss you. I've see. You at your healthiest and helped you through your sickest. I only wish I made a different choice that night....to come to see you. I truly miss our daily conversation of what ever was going on in life. From laughter to tears, we've been through it all. I still catch myself wanting to call you, to hug you, to just be there to visit but life decided to go a different direction. My promise to you is even though I am not okay right now or today, I will be. To love and stick by your grandson's side no matter what. To help Emma in anyways she needs and to bake with her like you did. Carter. To help him remember all the good times with you and how you were our world. To teach them the things you have taught me and to give and show them the love that you showed us. To make sure Leo is taken care of and has clean clothes. To help him with his computer or get him out of the house. I'll even just call to make sure he is okay. To make sure Amy is always loved and has someone to be there for her. And Lori. Thinking back to when I was young hanging out with Jodi, I thought you were the coolest mom. I loved your long hair :). Thanks for always having your door open for school lunchtime breaks. I missed you all, when you moved away...then to reconnect on Facebook years later. Played a few good games of scrabble with you Peggy - you kicked my butt.
