Harvey James Collinge

Harvey James Collinge, late of Melville, Saskatchewan, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the age of 80 years. Harvey is survived by Joan, his wife of 61 years; his children Vicky (Mike) Hammer, Hal, Colby (Lisha) all of Regina, Saskatchewan and Darryl (Sharon) of Swan River, Manitoba; as well as 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Harvey and Joan farmed for 35 years at Hazel Dell, Saskatchewan, including a twice a day, seven days a week job of milking cows and shipping cream for 17 years. During this time, he also drove school bus for 11 ½ years and worked for the Rural Municipality of Cote in Kamsack.
Harvey and Joan retired in 2006 to Melville where he enjoyed gardening, spending time at Madge Lake and visiting with family and friends.
As per Harvey’s request, there will be no funeral service. Private family interment will be held at Melville Cemetery, Melville, Saskatchewan.
Donations in Harvey’s memory may be made to STARS Air Ambulance.
