Sadly, George passed away after a brief illness. He is lovingly remembered by his caring wife of 63 years, Shirley; 3 daughters, Michelle (Rick), Simone (Baily), Andrea; and 4 grandsons. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at 1:30 PM, at the Thorncliffe Greenview Community Centre, 5600 Centre Street N, Calgary, Alberta. Please park on the East side of the building. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Calgary Veterans Foodbank 1, 4619 – 6 Street NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 3Z6.

I wish I could have known George, but I got to know Shirley in the short time he was a roommate with my husband in long term care. He sounded like he was a wonderful man and Shirley is a special lady. Special condolences and prayers for your family!
