Christensen, Lucille, 1936-2023 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Lucille Christensen. Lucille, surrounded by family passed peacefully on Dec 11th, 2023. Lucille was a devoted mother, predeceased by her daughter Linda (2016). Survived and sadly missed by sons Brian, Bruce (Sherrill), Bert and daughter Cheryl (Darin). Her legacy extends through the generations as a proud Grandmother to six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A special thank you to Dr Parker and the stroke team at Burnaby General Hospital.

Mom had a long and wonderful life and will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. Lucille will be laid to rest in a private family burial in Port Coquitlam.

You will be so missed Mom, give a BIG hug to Linda for us.

Messages of Condolence

Sincere condolences to the entire family on the passing of your matriarch. We lived right beside the Christensen's for many years. Deborah's path crossed again with Cheryl in their work with Credit Unions. Lucille could be found in the garden or in the kitchen preparing something yummy for her family. In later years, she was afforded the ability to stay in her beloved home supported by her family. Cheryl and others were devoted to making sure Lucille had everything she needed. The end of an era is always sad. Rest in Peace, Lucille!
