Chiara Maria Clinaz, lovingly known to her family and friends as Rina, was born on September 16, 1948, in Matera, Italy. As a young woman, she crossed the ocean by ship to begin a new life in Canada, eventually making her home in Whitehorse, Vancouver, and North Delta.

Rina is survived by her sons, Rick (Amanda) and Mauro (Cara); her brother, Tony (Shelley), and their children, Michael (Connie) and Amanda (Matt); her great-nephews, Lukas and Liam; as well as her extended family and many lifelong friends.

Rina was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Her memory will live on through her family, the meals they shared, the music and dancing she loved, and the many happy moments they enjoyed together.
