Yves Joseph Casey

It is with heavy hearts the family of Yves Casey of Airdrie, Alberta announce that Yves has passed away after a long and hard fight with COPD at the age of  61 years. Yves was born in Buckingham, Quebec to Leonard and Cecile (nee: Guitard) Casey. He was the middle child to his older bother, Luc Casey (Lucie), and younger sister, Guylaine (nee: Casey) Hotte (Jean). Yves arrived out west in the 1970's and settled in Calgary, Alberta in 1979. He started a family and had two children, Joshua (Nealie) Casey and Jessica Casey. Yves was a proud Papa to his grandchildren, Mackenzie and Cameron Casey, and was always a character and life of the party. Whether it was blastin' the tunes, telling jokes or playing the spoons, he will be remembered for his charismatic smile, laugh and that special twinkle in his eye. A Celebration of Yves' Life will be held at the Best Western, 121 Edmonton Trail SE, Airdrie, AB, on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
