It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carolyn Brenda (Ashby) Montgomery, of Regina, Saskatchewan, who passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving husband and children. Carolyn was born on August 16, 1957, to Corliss and Leo Ashby, who predeceased her.

Carolyn will be forever remembered by her devoted husband, Gordon Montgomery, her beloved children Annette (Jon) and David (Tember), and her cherished grandchildren Dexter, Hudson, Isaac, and Charlie, who were the light of her life.

Carolyn had a vibrant spirit. She loved to sing, dance, and play the piano, filling every room with warmth and laughter. She enjoyed playing crib and sharing good-natured competition with family and friends. Carolyn always had a great story to share, captivating everyone with her quick wit and sense of humour. More than anything, she adored her grandchildren — every moment spent with them brought her immense joy and pride. Carolyn’s presence brightened the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Brightwater Senior Living in Regina for the compassionate care and kindness they provided to Carolyn.

Details regarding a celebration of life will be shared with family and friends at a later date.

Hi Gord and Family!Again, our deepest condolences on the passing of sweet Carolyn. We spent many hours together in those early days in our 20s - and Carolyn was always at the centre of the fun- the stories we could tell! I can still hear that laugh. The one thing I will always remember is how much she adored you Gordy- everything she did was done with you in mind! And the same when her sweet children were born. Sending all our love to your family.

Gordy,I am so sorry to hear that the love of your life is no longer with you. Carolyn was so much fun when we had our Calgary Auto girls’ parties! I enjoyed having lunch with her regularly before I retired. Hugs to you and your family.

So sorry to hear, just now, of Caroline's passing. I have often thought back to the days when we would hang out a but along with a few others. Her quick humor and wit had the place filled with laughter. Although our friendship was but a few years, I will miss her for many more. I am so sorry Gord.
