A voice from our household is gone A voice we loved is stilled A void in our hearts is left Which never can be filled CAMPION, Dora, G. 17 June 1938 - 14 August 2014 We regret to announce the passing of Dora Campion formerly of 338 27th st. Fort Macleod and Granum. She passed away peacefully with her family by her bedside. Deeply and deservedly regretted by her husband of 52 years, Martin, brother Peter, Daughter Caroline, Son Robert and Daughter Patricia. Born in Potsdam Germany. Emigrated to Canada at the age of 18. She was fluent in German, French and Polish. Shortly after arriving to Canada, she was assigned as an interpreter to the South African Embassy in Ottawa. Dora moved out west to take care of her mother who had been in a vehicle accident in 1956. Shortly after her arrival in Calgary is where she met her husband to be Martin. Together with her husband, Dora raised a wonderful family until they decided to move to Southern Alberta to operate a very successful Antique Shoppe (Dora's Den) and Martin's Ice Cream Shoppe during their retirement years. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Arrangements entrusted to Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services. A private memorial service will take place for the family to celebrate her life. Your smile is gone forever Your hands we cannot touch We'll never forget your memories Of you we love so much
