After a long struggle with cancer it is with great sadness that the family of Wayne Byron announce his passing on Saturday June 14, 2014 at the age of 66 years. Wayne had an incredible sense of humor which made everyone laugh that crossed his path. He was a fun loving, devoted father who enjoyed vacationing with his kids. Wayne (Smokey) was employed with Air Canada for 34 years and was very well liked by all who knew him. Wayne will be forever missed by his family; loving wife, Barbara Hagan; son, Jason Byron; daughter, Lisa Byron (Shawn); granddaughter, Sierra; step son, Lee Hagan; brothers, Ervin Byron (Ursula), Lloyd Byron, Verne Byron (Vicky); sisters, Eleanor Berladyn (Ike), Lorraine Boszak (Ted), as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Victor; mother, Marian and infant brother, Edward. We are all very grateful to Barb for her devotion and care for Wayne. Following his wishes no formal service will be held.
