Barry Buness

Barry Buness passed away on June 18, 2022 at the age of 77 surrounded by his family.

He is loved by Dianne, his wife of 50 years and his children Kristen (Ryan), Michael (Carly) and Lauren (Andre); grandchildren Aidan, Fiona, Annalise, Jaxson, Anika, Lochlan, Katriona, Veronica, Sophia and Andre Ronan; his sister Marlene (the late Alfred Hiltz) and his brother Bob (Sandy). He was predeceased by his infant son Aaron; his brother Don; his parents Glenna and Floyd Sawyer; and his father Palmer Buness.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 2026 Winnipeg Street, Regina, SK.

The family would like to thank the compassionate and caring staff at the Surgical ICU, Regina General Hospital, Regina, SK.

My favourite memory of Barry is when he took me flying in his airplane. That was my first time flying and it was so cool because he was telling me about everything that we were seeing. We flew over MacDowall and he was pointing out whose houses were whose. Thank you for that experience Barry.

Barry and I went through school together and had many many good times together, I had a very good visit with Barry at the Glen Ewen school reunion a few years ago, I may have not seen Barry in the last several years, but will remember him as a very good friend
