Elizabeth (Joan) Brown

February 19, 1935 – August 11, 2013

With heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss, we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Elizabeth on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the age of 78. Left behind to mourn her are her son, Patrick (Doris); daughter, Nancy; sisters, Mary (Peter), Anne (Tom) and Rosaland (Tim). Most precious to Elizabeth were her six grandchildren, Jessica (Brad), Ian, Emily, Kyla, Katie and Mathew. A Celebration of Elizabeth’s Life will be held on Monday, August 26, 2013 at 1:30 pm at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 18 Hidden Creek Rd. NW, Calgary, AB. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to the Calgary Public Library Foundation, 2nd Floor - Memorial Park Library 1221 2nd Street SW, Calgary, AB, T2R 0W5.
