William Philip Brooks

Bill was born in Lethbridge, Alberta to Harry and Patricia Brooks of Taber. Bill is lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Joan; his son Kelly (Carolyn); daughter, Patricia; granddaughters, Caroline (Ray), Talalynne (Jamie); one great granddaughter, Channelle and one sister, Joanne Nate (Kenny) of Coutts. Bill was predeceased by his brother, Gordon and sister-in-law, Beverley. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Indus Recreation Hall, 225155A Range Road 281A, Indus, AB with lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, 201, 222 – 58 Ave. SW, Calgary, AB, T2H 2S3.

I still look across the street to your old house and have visions of my early childhood years with you and Joan residing there. I recall the stories you told of my vibrant mother, back in those days, racing across the street to mow your lawn when you were going up and down the slope of the front yard. You are a wonderful man and have accomplished all that God has wanted from you, here... Now you are home into the welcoming arms of our loving father.
