Andrew Brewer

Mr. Andrew (Andy) Brewer passed away in his home on July 6, 2019. He was born and raised in Abbotsford BC where he lived most of his life. He will be dearly missed by his family who loved him unconditionally, his friends who will miss his humour and generosity, and his co-workers who will miss his excellent work ethic and larger than life persona. Andy had a very kind and gentle soul, caring deeply for others. He was always the life of the party, entertaining everyone with his upbeat attitude. Trading post and Good Life gym lost a loyal customer that day. May we all eat a crispy chicken sandwich in honour of Andy and keep his spirit alive one chest press at a time.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Trading Post Brewing Eatery, 3058 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford on Saturday, September 21st from 1pm - 4pm.

Although Andy and I didn't keep in touch in recent years, I still remember him as the positive, care-free soul that everyone needs in their life. He was the best at keeping things light, a kind reminder that life can be simple if you allow it to be, and that we can always find room to laugh or smile, regardless of how hard things get. Sending my love to Andy's family during this time. Andy has moved onto another place, but he is not gone. The life of those who aren't here anymore still lives with those who still are.

It is very rare in life to meet someone that lights up a room the way Andy did. He was a friend to everyone at the gym even though it seemed like his time there was so brief. On more than one occasion, after I had been through a difficult day, Andy managed to put a smile on my face within seconds. To his parents - you should be so proud of the man you raised. He wore his heart on his sleeve and he came by it honest. He reminded me that it doesn't take much to brighten someone's day if you're willing to smile and listen. Thank you for raising such a good soul. My deepest condolences for your loss. I promise you he will live on in the memory of so many.

I'm saddened I never got to see you. I let my busy life get in the way. All you wanted to do was take me out for dinner to thank me for the night I found you, and made you call your Mom You stuck through, you did it! Youd come visit me at work, your beautiful face, your smile. I miss you, and I regret not seeing you when I had the chance.
