Joe Boivin

Joe passed away peacefully on January 16, 2013 at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by his wife of almost 70 years, Gabrielle in 2011. Survived by 13 children, 63 grandchildren and great grandchildren and many other family, relatives and friends.

Funeral mass, Monday, January 28 at 11:00 am in St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, 1320 Johnson Street, Coquitlam. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe’s memory to Canuck Place would be appreciated.

To the Boivin Family: You may or may not remember me...Alan Stewart's daughter, Norma. Many of you worked for my Dad, along with your hard working Dad for many years. I remember your Dad Joe fondly. He would load up his car with you boys and a big bag of sandwiches and off you'd go to frame some of the biggest homes in the lower mainland. Your Dad was a hard worker and he taught you well. My Dad thought the world of him. I'm sure the memories will stay with you forever.
