March 7, 2022

Malcolm Floyd Bloos

Malcolm Floyd Bloos passed away peacefully with his family by his side in Regina, Saskatchewan on March 7, 2022 at the age of 63. He struggled with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis followed by a very brief battle with lung cancer.

Malcolm is survived by his devoted wife Jackie of 40 years and by his loving children Charlene Kvill (granddaughters Adelaide and Lillian) and Jeffrey Bloos (Tianna and her daughter Abrianna). He will be sadly missed by his parents Michael and Helen Bloos; as well as his siblings Lonnie (Yvonne) Bloos, Valerie (Deon) Walsh and Michael (Michelle) Bloos. He will also be mourned by his brothers and sisters-in-law Rusti-Ann (James) Blanke, Buzz (Bonnie) Dobni, Lisa (Wayne) Elliott, Paul and (Cathy) Dobni and Kevin (Julie) Safinuk; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Malcolm was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents as well as his sister-in-law Kathy Safinuk and his Godfather Floyd Manz.

Malcolm was dedicated, loyal and hard-working. He took pride in being a valuable asset to his employers and was well respected by all.

Woodworking, camping, fishing, golfing, curling and biking with his wife were just a few of the things that he loved.

Everyone who knew Malcolm knew the most important thing to him was the love of his family and his dogs.

Malcolm’s family would like to thank the caring teams on Units 4A, 3A and 3B at the Pasqua Hospital, Regina, Saskatchewan. They’d also like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Sandi Funk, Dr. N. Iqbal and the Unit 4A manager.

A Celebration of Malcolm’s Life will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2015 - 4th Avenue North, Regina, Saskatchewan.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to your local humane society in memory of Malcolm.
