It is with great sadness that the family of Beverley “Joan” Moore (nee Roddy) announce her passing, on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the age of 83. Joan will be deeply missed, and forever loved by her children and their spouses, Nat & Shelley Moore, Melody & Cory Conger, and Robin & Jeanette Moore. Also cherishing her memory will be Joan’s grandchildren and their spouses: Jennifer & Sam Kliman, Emily Bishop, Rebecca & Kent Zacharuk, Joshua Moore, Stephanie Moore, Jessica Conger, Melina & Shawn Jenkins, Cody & Jessa Conger, and Suzy Oshowy. Her great-grandchildren: Cameron, Evelyn, Myka-Lynn, George, Kayden, Bentley, Mekayla (Marcus), Isabella, Emmett, Elliana, Amalie, Annamae, Rose, Flora, Valley, Domanik, Finn,and Brantley. Joan will also be missed by her sisters Carla Hoeving and Marlene Appleby, her sisters-in-law Gladys Roddy and Elaine Moore, her brother-in-law Bryan Hoeving, as well as numerous nieces & nephews, friends, and fellow Lions Club members.

Joan was predeceased by her husband Bob, daughter Twylla and son-in-law Albert, sister Muriel Sterzer, brother Ken Roddy, brothers-in-law Al Sterzer, Roy Appleby and Art Moore, as well as a baby sister, Mary, in infancy.

Joan was born and raised in Truax, SK. She was the second youngest of 6 children, born to Florentine and Michael Roddy. At the age of 15 Joan met the love of her life, Bob, and they spent 66 happy years together. She was a devoted wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma, and a proud Lions Club member right up until her passing.

A celebration of life for Joan will take place on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 1:30 pm, at St. Mary’s Parish Hall, 2040 Winnipeg St, Regina. For those wishing to leave online messages of condolence, please visit www.MyAlternatives.ca/Regina

The family would like to thank the staff of Helping Hands Care Home for ensuring that Joan was treated with love and respect, the doctors, nurses and care aides of 3B at the Pasqua Hospital and finally, the compassionate and caring staff on the Palliative Care Ward at the Pasqua Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one of Joan’s favourite charities, either Stars Air Ambulance, or the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, or a charity of your choice.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Auntie Joan’s warm smile every time we met.  She looked right into me.  In a crowded room of relatives she just spilled out warmth.   I will miss those smiles but cherish the memories.  My heart felt sympathy to all her family and friends.   ~ Heather Appleby
