Beatrice “Betty” Cora Bessette passed away Sunday February 18, 2024 surrounded by family.

Betty was predeceased in death by her grandson Jeremy Bessette. Betty is survived by two daughters; Susan Bessette and Cherie Bessette; one son, Dean Bessette; five grandchildren, Corey, Danielle, Christie, Jaxon, and Brittany; and 5 great grandchildren.

She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Betty also known to many as auntie Betty was a fierce woman – holding fast to her beliefs, defending those she loved, and always seeking to better herself. At her request, in her final wishes, there will be no memorial service. She wished to be remembered and acknowledged as a hard working, loving mother, grandmother and friend. She wanted to be remembered for the fun she had with her children and grandchildren and always putting them first. We invite you to make a donation to The Surrey Food Bank in Betty’s honor.

Just learned of Betty's passing. I am glad I got to see her in January and we had a good visit. She was an amazing lady and I am grateful that I got to know her.
