February 7, 1960 – October 2, 2015

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Alfred "Fred" Benary on October 2, 2015, after a tragic motor vehicle collision.

He is remembered by his partner of 16 years, Adele Dirks; daughters, Deanna Dirks and Ashleigh Dirks; sister, Edel Benary; brothers, Klaus (Brandy) Benary and Robert (Maria) Benary; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; extended family overseas; friends and co-workers. Fred was predeceased by his parents, Lotte and Hans Benary.

A Celebration of Fred's Life will be held in the Water Valley Community Hall on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Special thanks goes to Dr. Phillipe Couillard and the staff at the Foothills Hospital Trauma and Palliative Care ICUs.
