Leonard Leroy Walter Batten

Leonard Batten passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at his home in Didsbury, Alberta at the age of 85.
He is lovingly remembered by his two children, Marilyn Dunbar and Brian Batten; 5 grandchildren, Katrina (Rod) Chaytor, Ryan (Saska) Batten, Amanda (Dixie) Batten, Alyssa (Brady) Landry and Stacy (Eric) Ruttle; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Leonard was predeceased by his beautiful wife of 62 years, Phyllis; his parents, Fred and Ethel Batten; his two sisters, June Lee and Leone Neufeld; his daughter-in-law, Sue Batten; and his grandson, Klinton Prohl.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Until we meet again.
