Lloyd passed away peacefully at the age of 98 in Richmond and has gone to join his wife and best friend, Virginia.
Dad was born in and enjoyed a full life in Vancouver. He loved to ski the local mountains as a kid and quit school to drive truck when he was 16. Dad went overseas in 1939 with the Seaforth Highlanders, spent three and a half years in the U.K. and was sent to Italy in 1942 for 22 months. He returned home after the war to continue driving truck. Mom and Dad enjoyed travelling in their motor home and he loved to ride his bike and meet his many friends in Richmond.
Survived by children Beverly and Robert, grandchildren Lisa and Jeff (Andrea) and great grandchildren Madison, Emily and Bailey.
“Goodbye Buddy and say hi to Mom.”
