Ronald Gordon Barnes

It is with great sadness, the family announces the passing of Ron Barnes on September 16th, 2016.

 Ron was predeceased by his parents, Herbie and Joyce, and is survived by his wife Dianne, children Bree and Justin, his loving dogs Maggie and Doug, sisters Elaine (Lorne) and Barbara (Darcy), brothers Jim (Linda) and David, and many nieces and nephews.

 Ron was born and lived most of his life in Regina. He enjoyed cooking, baking, barbeques, camping and was a lifelong Roughrider fan.

 At his request, in lieu of a Funeral, a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm at the Wa Wa Shrine Centre, 2065 Hamilton St, Regina, SK. A buffet supper will be available until 7pm. Everyone welcome, come and go, casual attire. Parking available north and east of the building and in the SaskPower lot across Hamilton St.

 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital or the Allan Blair Cancer Centre.

 The family would like to thank the palliative care nurses, especially Eunice and Sharon, for their sincere compassion, caring and understanding throughout this difficult time.
