AUSTIN, Sharon Elaine

Sharon Elaine Austin passed away suddenly on Friday, October 17, 2014 at the age of 49 years. She will be sadly missed by her mother, Evelyn; sister, Bev; brothers, Bill (Cathy), Doug (Liz), Fred (Colleen); niece, Tara; nephews, Corey, Kenny, Kendall, Daniel, Derek, Andrew; numerous great nieces and nephews; Aunt Laura; and Uncle Ben. Sharon was predeceased by her father, Harry.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrews Anglican Church, 1611 St. Andrews Place NW, Calgary, AB on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 1:30 pm.

I was sorry to hear of Sharon's death and also sorry I was unable to attend her memorial service due to prior commitments. I remember how much she loved her family. She taught me a great deal during our few years together on the buses, and the years later as our paths crossed from time to time. I saw a few pieces of her early artwork and would love to see more of this gifting of hers. If there are any available for purchase, I would be interested in buying one (or more?) as a token of our friendship.
