Marie Andrusiak

November 17, 2020

Marie Andrusiak
On Tuesday, November 17, 2020 Marie Andrusiak (née Huber) passed away peacefully at the age of 90. She will be remembered as a loving wife and lifelong companion to her husband, and as a selflessly dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. The seemingly limitless time and care she devoted to her only daughter’s family will forever be fondly remembered and was truly her life’s work. Her infectious smile, quick and mischievous wit, and gentle nature have left an indelible mark on her loved ones. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 68 years, Harry; daughter Noreen Sax (Tom); grandchildren Mark Sax (Nicole), Rhiannon Hillman (Jarrod), and Allyson Sax; great-grandchildren Aidan, Anika, Nolan, Ainsley, and Ansen; sister Adelaide; and her many nieces and nephews.  Her memory will be celebrated privately by family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation Canada (DRIFCan) for the Heading to 2022 initiative (www.headingto2022.com).
