Alice Daoust (née Vickery)

Alice left this world May 19, 2025 from Surrey, BC to join her husband Joe Daoust and son Mike in eternal peace.

She will be dearly missed by her children Rick Daoust, Ann MacDonald (Ross), Linda Siemens (Brian) and Brenda Cameron (Barry) as well as her five grandchildren Courtney So (Craig), Scott MacDonald (Desire), Laura Pusch (Jordan), Julia Dolman (Ryley) and Krista Ramage (Spencer) along with her eight great grandchildren Lisa, Felix, Avery, Leah, Roman, Cooper, Cameron and Wren. 

Pre deceased by her sister Betty West and brother Alfred Vickery. Born in Tisdale Saskatchewan July 3, 1935 the first of four children to Fred and Alma Vickery. Her family moved to BC and Alice grew up in Surrey, raised her children in Coquitlam and split her retirement between Maple Ridge and her beloved cabin on Rail Lake in Lac La Hache, where she spent 26 beautiful years with Joe hosting their family for wonderful gatherings and especially their grandchildren, filling their childhoods with the best memories of fun and adventure.

Alice loved to garden and always had beautiful flowers and a delicious vegetable garden. She loved birds and was delighted by the wide variety of wildlife in their forest home.

Her smile and love will be missed by many. There will be a celebration of her life on Saturday June 28th at 1PM at the Cranley Place Community Hall, 2141 Cranley Dr., South Surrey. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you scatter some wildflower seeds in her name.
