Merle Marie Alguire-Johansen, a longtime resident of Black Diamond, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the age of 70 years.
Merle is lovingly remembered by her family: mother, Iris Marie Alguire; husband, Terry; her children, James Walker, Iris (George) Jackson, Trish (Danny) Crawford, Tina (Kevin) Watson and Craig (Candace) Launhardt; stepchildren, Michael (Laura) Johansen and Kari Johansen; grandchildren, Ryan & Kyle Jackson, Lindsey, Brandon & Joshua Crawford, Kristofer, Zackary & Nicklas Watson, Shalan & Jayden Launhardt; step grandchildren, Maya & Liv Johansen and Berghen & Sorren Johansen; her brothers, Carl (Wendy) Alguire, Leonard (Lynn) Alguire, William Alguire, Timothy (Christina) Alguire and Todd Alguire, and sister, Linda (Bob) Cook; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Come & Go Celebration of Merle’s Life will be held at the Griffiths Senior Centre, 122 Government Road, Black Diamond, AB on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
