Albert Alberda

Albert Alberda passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the age of 72 years. Albert is lovingly remembered by his family: wife, Elsie, of 47 years; children, Philip, Daniel (Salimah), Thomas, Neal (Lyndsey); grandchildren, Keeley, Alex, Colton, and Ashton; siblings, Tammy (Joe) Oetelaar, Jane Myers, Bill Alberda, John (Dorothy) Alberda, Ann Alberda; brother-in-law, Jan Bierman, Bill (Gaylene) Miller.  He is predeceased by his parents, Willem and Baukje; sister, Wilma Bierman; brothers, Rudy Alberda, and Jouke Alberda.  A Celebration of Life will be held at The Banquet Room in the Prince of Peace Manor, 285030 Luther Rose Blvd. NE, Calgary, AB on August 29, 2019 at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Elsie my most sincere condolences to you and all the family. I have so many great memories of Al one of them being the fact that our offices were beside each other. Come noon he would quietly close the office door and stretch out that large body on the floor in front of the desk to coax that back into finishing the day.
