Sue Sorry to hear of Randy’s passing. Had fun times when we were in Grande Cache (too many years ago to think of !!!) He was a fine fellow Dave

So sorry to hear of your loss Sue. Randy was a great guy and we had many laughs together years ago.

Sue, I am so sorry to hear this sad news of Randy’s passing. My thoughts are with you and your family.

I just happened upon this and remembered meeting and dealing with Randy when he was a mechanic in Enderby. I contacted Randy to kickstart his application into the Mounties(for married men)......Last connected with Randy in the early 80s......sincerest condolences..... David & Peggie Rusnell

Our deepest condolences. Wishing you much love and support during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr.Duncalfe's passing. So many great memories of spending time with your family, playing with Lani and Amanda. Girls, your dad had such a wonderful smile, and was always so cheerful. Lots of love and prayers to you all.

To the DUNCALFE family: I am very sorry to hear of Randy's passing. I have known Randy for several years. He was an excellent person and member of the Force. He trained recruits for me while he was posted to Grande Cache. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. I pass on, to all of you, my deepest and sincere condolences. May God bless you. Donnette and Doug Hancock

we attended Sylvan Lake Alliance Church with you years ago. Grew to respect and appreciate both you and Randell there. So sorry for your loss Sue... but we have hope that we will see him again. Our deepest sympathy to you and your girls. Praying for you.

We are thinking of you in this time of sorrow. Praying for peace in this incredibly difficult season. Love and Hugs to you all.. Lynn, Marci, Heidi Henderson and families

Barry and I would like to extend our sincere sympathy to Sue, your family and close friends. Randy and Barry worked together in Red Deer and Barry agrees with the positive comments’ others have made of Randy's outstanding work ethics. We also remember fondly the fun times we all shared when we had the opportunity of getting together at the social functions. We are sincerely sorry for your loss. Cherish all the wonderful memories. We are unable to attend the service, but our thoughts will be with you. Sincere best wishes.

Sue and family - I am so saddened by the passing of Randy, I worked with Randy on Watch 11 for a number of years. He was a great member to work with, many fond memories of Randy. My heart goes out to you Sue and your family in this time or great loss.

Sue, Lanny, Amanda, Mrs. Duncalfe and families. It has been a difficult time since I learned of Randy's passing. He was one of the finest examples of what a member of the RCMP should aspire to become! He was more than my trainer in Grande Cache in 1981, he was a mentor, a friend, a man who set positive examples in all he did and one of the finest police officers I ever had the extreme pleasure to work alongside! The countless lessons, snowmobile and atv adventures, a sense of humor that was not matched, the feeling I had as he was the one backing you up in a difficult situation are only a very small amount of the numerous fonds memories that have filled my thoughts over the last few days. The two of you together made the finest of couples and set the best of examples and no doubt were a match made in heaven! What I have learned from him as an officer and friend, I have never forgotten and will never let go of. My heart and prayers go out to you, your family and everyone who knew Randy as a friend. He will forever hold a special place in many, many hearts as will you, your daughters and families have a special place in the hearts of all who mourn. Rest my brother and walk with God as he has welcomed you into his kingdom. Our most deepest condolences. Warren and Sheri Pister and family.

Dear Sue and your family It’s hard to believe Randy has passed. I dispatched to him for several years from the Red Deer Comcentre. He was always a gentleman, a pleasure to work with. My sincere condolences to each of you. Dianne Lehman

I was saddened by the news of Randy passing. I worked with Randy in Red Deer for a number of years. He always had my back and helped me through some tough times. Randy and his brother did a beautiful paint job on my old 78 Ford F150, back in 1999. I'll always remember that. Sue, my heart is out to you and your family at this time of great loss. Sincerest condolences.

Hello Sue, sending deepest condolence's from the Wong family. We had a very good time visiting back and forth, while posted at Sylvan Lake. I am sorry I won't be able to attend at the Celebration of Life for Randy, I am working in Northern B.C. Take care and give everyone a hug from the Wong's.

Sue and family. My deepest condolences. I was an operator in the OCC in Red Deer and worked with Ed a number of years. Very sorry to hear of his passing

My heart is broken for Sue and family. Randy and I worked together for 8 years in Red Deer. He was more than a colleague, he was a true friend, and he set such a fine example at work and home of how to be the best human being you could be. He will be missed by many.

My condolences. I had the pleasure to work with Randy at Red Deer City Det. He was a very fine man, and a great member. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sue and family, So sorry to hear of Randy's passing. I had the priviledge of working with Randy at Sylvan Lake Detachment. He was a great member to work with. My best memories are that he wrote everything in green ink, and always asked anyone he brought into cells if they were from Cape Breton !! Randy will be missed. Thoughts and prayers from Eric & Kathy Miller

Sue and family, my deepest and sincerest condolences on the passing of Randy. Many fond memories are with me right now as I remember our times together in Grande Cache working together and as neighbours. My prayers are with you. Darlene Anderson

To Sue and Family, I had the privilege of knowing Randy for several years when we worked together at the RCMP Detachment in Grande Cache. I can say, without reservation, that he was one of the finest men that I had the good fortune to work with during my career. A knowledgeable, conscientious, no nonsense man with evident sound family and community values. May he rest in peace and may Sue and his family receive the support and blessings to cope with the loss of a good man, husband and father. Frank Dolan, Charlottetown, PEI.

Sue, Lani, Amanda and families, Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve the loss of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and family member to so many. May God strengthen you all thru this sad time. Keep the many memories of a wonderful man close to your hearts........ and let his legacy live on within all of you. Our deepest sympathy is with you all, Bob & Marlene Stevenson

Our sincere condolences! Enjoyed meeting up with Randy at VDO after our years of working in Red Deer.

We are saddened to hear of Randy’s sudden passing. Our hearts go out to Sue and the family. It is such a loss. May God support you at this time. With Sympathy, Harold and Carol Rands

To Lanny, Ryan, Whitney and Megan, I was so grateful to be a part of your sorrow this last week. "We are not as those who have no hope," The Apostle Paul wrote. You know your dad and granddad is with Jesus, and you are comforted in knowing that. But you'll also miss him. I pray for God's presence, comfort and strength in your loss. Hugs, Sandi Somers
