Kenneth Bryan Stelter

July 21st, 2023

Kenneth Stelter, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away suddenly on Friday July 21st, 2023, at the tender age of 70.

He was constantly surrounded by an abundance of love from his family. Ken is lovingly remembered by his wife Gail; children Jennifer (Ken), Kelly (Keith), and Christopher (Allison); grandchildren Devon (Teesha), Jared, Sarah, Jensen, Ashlynn, Brody, Brooklynn, Aidan, Birk, and Lily; great-grandchildren Nixon, Kinsley, and Jax. He is also survived by his mother, Viola, and siblings, Linda, Verna, and Rod. He is predeceased by his father Emil and brother Gary.

Ken was raised in Hodgeville, SK and made a home for his family in Pense, SK. He worked at Degelman Industries for 49 years where in his later years he had the opportunity to work alongside his son Chris, and grandson Jared. Ken was able to enjoy two weeks of his retirement before his sudden passing.

Ken’s love of conversation led to many discussions on politics and world events. He was not afraid to voice his opinion to anyone who would listen. He enjoyed being the prankster and making people laugh. He was a great mentor to all that he crossed paths with in his years. He was not afraid to tackle anything or help anyone out as he certainly either had the tool to fix it or the supplies to do it.

There will be a celebration of life held at the Pense Town Hall on Friday August 4, 2023 at 2:00 PM. A private family interment will be held at the Cottonwood Cemetery at a later date. We invite everyone to come out to celebrate Ken’s life and share stories of the man who has touched so many lives over the years. We will miss his pranks and all the laughs and knowledge he has shared throughout the years.
