Messages:

I just recently found out, Floyd. I'm sorry I didn't get to see you last time I knew you were in town. Thank you for chasing me with that big smile when I wouldn't stop calling you 'floods'; that memory always comes back to me after pondering a difficult situation I've had to deal with and managed to stay civil throughout.

Floyd was the first friend I made when I moved to BC 13 years ago. He was instantly likable. We both liked video games and movies and so we had reasons to hang out together. He invited me over to his house on my first Thanksgiving in BC, knowing that I didn't have any family out here. He was that kind of person - always opening his door to anyone who needed it. Then we became gym buddies and motivated each other to stay in shape and he taught me how to use all the equipment properly. Knowing his talent with sculpting and design I asked if he'd like to design my wife's wedding and engagement ring. He obliged and asked for nothing in return. We'll always have that ring to remind us of his kind and generous spirit, as well as his creative abilities. We'll miss you Floyd.

My deepest condolences to the family. Floyd was one if a kind and a very caring person. We will miss his presence and smile... I will never forget our time together on and off of the softball field. Heaven got a special soul last week. Thanks coach for the fun times.... "Hammers on 3"
