John George Moore

December 21st, 2017

Passed away unexpectedly on December 21, 2017 in Vancouver, B.C., at the age of 35. Predeceased by his father, John David Moore, as well as his “furbabies”; Mittens, Girly and Jake

He leaves behind beloved mother “Addy” Adeline Moore (nee McGuigan), beloved daughter Madeline Journey Moore, cherished grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and all of the McGuigan clan. He also leaves so many cherished friends who he thought of as family and loved each and every one of you so much.

Thank you also for the acts of kindness, words of condolences, gifts and food that have been shared during this difficult time and all the overwhelming donations from the “go fund me” page. A special thanks to Simon, Angnieska, Terri, Trilogy B.C., Day and Night Recovery (Freedom) B.C., Cason, Sequay, Quest, and the many staff of Niagara College. His family would like to thank all of you who helped John through his journey of life.

Celebration of Life to honour John, January 20th at 3:00 pm at the Kinsmen Hall, 2973 Hyman Ave, Ridgeway, Ont. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for his daughter or to men's detox.

Very proud of the man you became. The hearts you touched and your dedication to help and fight for others will never be forgotten. I will miss our chats and hold on to the memories we shared over the years. You always took the time to make me feel important from the moment our families came together and for 30 years I was able to watch you grow from a curious little boy into a fine young man who loved his family and friends dearly. There are no words to escape the sunshine we will all miss that flooded our hearts with your presents. My heart is less full that you are gone but bigger because I knew you.
