Lillian Dyer Ferguson (née McMillan)

August 7th, 2016

Everyone knows Lillian Dyer Ferguson (née McMillan), 69 of White Rock, BC loves a deal.  On Sunday, August 7th she received an offer you can’t refuse.  It’s an all-inclusive package including; effortless flight complete with the finest scotch, ripple-chips, Maltesers and no packing.  Upon arrival she will be greeted by a welcome party of family and friends she hasn’t seen in a long time, including her son Jason Hilton, parents Jack & Esther McMillan, Ron & Jean Ferguson and Uncle Willie.  After receiving her favorite fresh-flower lei, she will enjoy door-prizes, heavy hors oeuvres, crispy tempura & dessert buffets with no calories, casino games, period movies-on-demand, and endless gifts-with-purchase. This trip takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, dancing, singing, gardening, tanning, reading and seeing the world ‘til her heart’s content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed.

Since this offer was only for one, she left detailed instructions for her husband Jim Ferguson; daughter Angela Hilton; grandson Sebastian Lawley; sisters Janet (Brad) Forrest and Estar* (Bob Tarbuck) McMillan; chosen children Chris St-Jacques & Chantal Larocque (their children Olivier, Renaud, Vivianne), siblings in-law Debbie (Randy) Stenner, Mike (Diana) Ferguson, Mary-Lou Henry; soul-sisters Pauline, Sharon & Bonnie, father of her children Richard Hilton; cousins Ellen McMillan, Esther (Ronnie) Miller; nieces Fiona & Heather; nephew Lance Bolton , other friends and surviving family members to celebrate her vibrant life and her gift for adding her special touch to everything she did.  Failure to celebrate her many accomplishments at Safeway, The Brick, as a performer and in her own businesses may cause the offer she received to extend to other family members sooner rather than later.

We will remember her bubbly personality, her inclusive nature, her warmth, her energy, her delicious mince-n-totties and “Good Grammy Soups”, her love for costumes, musicals, travel and her extraordinary creativity. We invite you to join us and celebrate together the ways in which knowing her touched and enriched our lives.

Celebration of Life at 1:00pm Thursday, August 25th, 2016, Deeley Motorcycle Exhibition, 1875 Boundary Road (near Lougheed Hwy), Vancouver.
