My grandfather was a very humble loving man although we didn't keep in contact with him I will always cherish whst little time I did spend with him

Al was a long-time member of the Poppy Estate Senior Men's Golf Club and taught me (I still haven't learned the lesson) that straighter is better than farther. Al and Peter Thomas (also deceased) were 'members' of the early morning group of players. Al's Australian flag (I think) flown on his back window will be missed. Rest in peace Al.

Dear Ena, I am so sorry for your loss. Let the good memories sustain you and give you strength to get through this difficult time. Love Aline

So very sorry Allan has left us, we did enjoy our good times and the many golf games we played together. Our sincere condolences Ron & Barbara Dugmore

Dear Ena and the families, our thoughts are with you at this sad time. Cling to the memories of the good times - they will be a lifeline and with love and support among family and friends, they will help offset the dark days of now and help you into the future. Our sincerest condolences to you from your friends, Clive and Sylvia

I only met Allan once, but could see that he was a wonderful man and the perfect partner for Ena. My heartfelt sympathy goes to Ena and both of their families.
