Messages:

Please forgive the lateness of my condolences. I am happy to have found your name but deeply saddened that this is the way I came across it. I'm so sorry for your loss and I'm sorry I only have the futile offering of words to give. It is a true testament to your parenting that you seemed to have had such a strong influence on her given her apparent love of music and kindness of spirit. I wish you and your family happiness and better things for the new year Trina.

Lexi was very good to my son, a complete stranger when he joined the Choeur des Enfants in Montreal. After we moved back to the States, for several years I think she and he would talk on the phone occasionally. I am praying for comfort to come to her family.

To Lexi's Family on behalf of North Vancouver Community Players: We were all deeply saddened to hear of Lexi's passing back in April. I had seen the notice in the north shore news but it was only after the service had been held. I was in Aladdin with Lexi and that is how we met. She was a lovely talented young lady with a beautiful voice who added soo much to Aladdin as the Genie of The Lamp. I played Sultana in the show and enjoyed getting to know this bright young lady. We all did and cannot believe that she is gone. I wanted you to know that in this year's production of Rapunzel Peter our director who also directed Aladdin put a special moment in the play to Honour Lexi. There were several of us in the show this year as well and we were always touched by this moment that Peter created. We all want you to know that we are thinking of you especially now at this time of year and we send our love and sympathy to you all. We feel Lexi's presence around Hendry Hall. She is dearly missed and fondly remembered. Jennifer and all Lexi's friends at NVCP.

I am so sorry, to all of Lexi's family <3 ...Lexi and I both sang in the Montreal Children's Choir almost 7 years ago. I remember because she was the first girl I ever fell in love with. To her family: you might remember me as the boy who called her all the time, probably long after she was interested in talking with me too. It's been a while now. I can only imagine how her parents and siblings and all her relatives must have loved, must love and miss her too. And to Moritz, all my support as well. Best from, Leland

Hearing Lexi sing so beautifully and reading these tributes to her has made my getting involved with Facebook (which I swore I would never do) worthwhile.I am proud to have been her aunt, I wish I had known her better. What an incredible soul, what an enormous loss! All my love to you -- Trina, Gideon, Joel, Tamara and Aviva-Jacob. Aunt Marcia

I'm so sorry for your unimaginable loss. Moritz is my grand nephew and I can see what a wonderful person he fell in love with. Such a heartbreak for all of you who knew Lexi and who basked in her special presence. She leaves a legacy of great accomplishment. May you find peace and joy and be comforted as time goes by.

Gideon I'm sorry for your loss my friend, I hope you and Katrina can find some kind of peace despite your pain. Very sorry !!!! daforce

Dear Gideon, Katrina and children. Took me a lot of time to find the things to say, only to realise that there's nothing I could say to make it better. I only can say that Stacey and I love you very much, we're thinking about you, and hold you, and Lexi in our hearts. Much love, Nadine & Stacey

Trina, Gideon and family, our hearts go out to you at this difficult time. So sorry to hear of your loss.

Nous pensons beaucoup à vous et partageons votre peine dans cette terrible épreuve. Avec toute notre affection.

Hi Lexi, it was an honor to be a camper and CIT with you. You were so incredibly talented and just a beautiful person inside and out. It feels like just yesterday were were singing and dancing side by side. I have so many incredible memories of all of us. We all miss you so much. Were going to have a picnic at the school soon. I dedicate all my future performances to you. The song "What I Did For Love" will always hold a special place in our hearts. This may seem cliche but now when I hear these lyrics I'll think of you "Who can say if I've been changed for the better (I do believe I have been changed for the better)but because I knew you I have been changed for good". I miss you so much Love, Gail P.S. I send my condolences to the Cohen family please let LiLi know I am thinking of her

I am so very saddened to hear of Lexi's sudden passing. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this difficult time.

I do not know Lexi but I saw her obituary today in the North Shore News and I was struck by how beautiful and young she was. I was working as a hostess at the Observatory Restaurant at Grouse Mountain tonight and an older lady came by to see me. I asked her what she was doing in Vancouver as she came from New york and she said she was here for her grandaughters funeral and I just knew she was Lexi's grandmother. For some reason it was fate that our paths crossed. I will never forget her or the beautiful girl in the picture who was gone much to soon. I hope that knowing that someone who didn't know Lexi, but only saw her picture, is thinking of you all at this time and that it brings some comfort. With deepest sympathy, Elaine Minichiello

I was at the Celebration of Life for Lexi today and was moved by the wonderful stories and memories which family members, loved ones, and friends shared with the gathering. I will be haunted by the beauty of Lexi's voice and the power of her songs, all evidence of her amazing talent and the incredible legacy she has left behind. My most sincere condolences you and I hope that your journey through grief to beloved remembrance will be helped by the outpouring of love and support from the community. Lexi will be missed and she will be treasured.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Lexi and would like to offer our condolences to all of her family. Amelia loved her friend and really enjoyed spending time with Lexi's family. Her memories of Lexi will be cherished forever. The Cook Family
