Moreah Sinclaire

February 15th, 2012

Moreah was born in Morden Manitoba and was married on December 25, 1931 and moved to B.C. in 1947. A huge family has ensued.  Seven children, 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and numerous great, great grand children.  Moreah took a Canada Manpower Training on the Job Program in1972 to become a desk clerk.  Worked at the "Y" Mountain Chalet in Banff, Alberta from September 13, 1972 to January 31, 1973.

Ventured to the Arctic Circle November, 1975. Worked for Montgomery AMC Rig 49 at Rocky Mountain House Alberta around October 1, 1978 to March 30, 1979 as a camp cook.  Also at Rig #44 in Grizzly Valley Alberta in 1974. She is an inspiration to all.

We may live without poetry, music and art. We may live without conscience
and live without heart...we may live without friends, we may live without
books, but civilized man cannot live without cooks.

Great Grandma had a warm heart that I still remember from 2 years ago. Her hot cocoa was very delicious and especially her lemonade which I may never forget. Her ginger cookies were so ginger even from the first bite. I remember her clock that sat upon her bed that rang every 15 min. I remember everything like it was yesterday. Well I hope I'll remember her for the rest of my life because I will never get her warm hugs, her hot cocoa, lemonade, and ginger cookies which I still have the taste in my mouth. I wish I was there. I wish I have given her 1 more hug before I left Canada 2 years ago. I love you soooo much great grandma. I will never forget you and that's a fact! XOXOXOXOX Love you, TAMARA Tannberg
