Messages:

Dear Tim and Lisa, With deepest sympathy, we send our condolences to you and your family. May you be comforted by God's love and peace that passeth all understanding.

It was an absolute pleasure to learn all about Charis last Thursday evening. What a meaningful and positive contribution she made to this world. I know she'll be doing exactly the same thing in her new world. Love and hugs to you Tim, Lisa, Bryan and Kevin.

Dear Walter & Susan & Family, We were utterly saddened when word reached us of the sudden passing of Charis. Words are only small tokens of regret over the loss of a precious young one, a time one hopes never to experience. You are all in our thoughts and prayers as your entire family draws together this evening to celebrate her life. We hope as life goes on that you will speak often of her, and the bright light that she was, so that she will always be with you and you continue to delight in all that she brought to your family circle.

How painful, how sad and how difficult to understand. yes, the Lord is in control and we are to trust Him. It's ok to grieve, for He Himself grieves. But, oh how I cry out for Charis, beautiful gentile sweet child! We watched her grow up and the last two times we were together, she was a young woman, no longer a child, joining in our adult conversation. I will always cherish the memories, An African violet will always remind me of Charis. I hold dearly the beautiful doily she crocheted for me and every Christmas when I decorate the tree, I will cherish the tiny snow flakes she helped Lisa in making as gifts. My dear friends, oh how I grieve for you. Your loss is so great!! I thank God for your faith and the comfort He provides as He grieves with you.

Dear Tim and Lisa, heartfelt sympathy to you and your family in this most, most, difficult of journeys. I sadly did not have the pleasure of knowing your special girl, but see that she lived her life fully and joyously in service to others. An inspiration. I wish you comfort and peace and hope that time, memories and the loving support of your community will hasten the healing process. Emma

We are so sorry we cannot be there for the memorial but we will be there in spirit. All our family and friends hear in Montreal are praying for you. Oh, Charis your family and friends are so proud to have known you and loved you. You turned out to be a beautiful and vibrant young woman.

Dear Tim, Lisa, Bryan, & Kevin, Words cannot convey our heavy hearts upon learning of the death of your precious daughter, Charis. There is a long road ahead for your family but know, through your love of Christ, you will never be alone. He is always with you as are all of your family and friends. Lean on all of us for support whenever and wherever you need it.

Dear Walter and Suzanne and family We are all very sad to hear of the loss of your precious grand-daughter. I cannot imagine how painful this must be for you and I can only hope that you will be comforted by family and friends for today and that God will comfort you with His Spirit in days and weeks to come. We are praying for you, and for your family. Unfortunately I have never met Charis, but I'm sure it would have been wonderful to have known her. The ministry that she supported must have been a real inspiration to her and she to them. May the Lord be your Shepherd as you walk through this valley of the shadow of death. I am so happy that she will dwell in the house of the Lord forever, and sad that she had to live so little of her life before then. God bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you. Love Eunice

I am so sorry that I am unable to join you for the memorial service but your entire family has been on my heart and mind since I heard the shocking news and we will be with you in spirit tomorrow. Wishing you peace and hope as you pass through this period of grief and remembering. Sincerely Cousin Edith and Bert Friesen
