We are all saddened to announce the sudden passing of our beautiful Iryna. She joins her father Vasyl Dovganick; her father-in-law Volodymyr; and grandmothers Maria and Lubov.

She leaves behind to mourn her husband Vadim Glusker; her children Darya Glusker and Alexsandra Glusker; her mother Nina Yevgenina Dovganick; her brother Pavel Dovganick; close friends Denis Karamishev, Antonina Karamishev, Iryna Baran, Pavel Onceanu, Carolina Babuci Onceanu and her sweet dog Chester. Iryna was the godmother of Rebecca Onceanu.

Iryna was born on March 25th, 1986 in Lviv, Ukraine.

When she was 11 years old, she lost her father, she was left with her older brother and unwell mother. Ever since, she dedicated herself to take care and support her mother and all her family.

Iryna always devoted herself with love and passion to her family despite difficulties and challenges of two immigrations and starting over in an unfamiliar environment. She managed to build a beautiful home, raised two wonderful daughters, had a loving and close relationship with her husband and took care of her dog. All while she carried on supporting her mother and brother that stayed in Ukraine.

Iryna was brave and weathered many storms. She was kind and always had comforting words to lift the spirits of others. She was compassionate and nonjudgmental and understood that each of us is on our own journey. She was generous with her time, joy and spirit to share with others.

Iryna was extraordinarily friendly, open-hearted, kind, and loving. She was an active member of the community and volunteered at the church. She was regularly attending church with her family and helped her family to come closer to God. She was a devoted Christian and loved carrying the mission of God. She Dedicated herself to her community, her loved ones, and close ones.

She would easily make friends and she was always open to listen and help anyone. She loved spending her time with friends and cherished a company of her loved ones and close ones.

She had a diverse range of talents, she used to write poetry, to paint and she had a strong gift in mastering new languages very quickly. She loved music and her favorite musician/songwriter was Vladimir Vysotsky and Zemfira.

She built and designed a pleasant and welcoming home. When you enter her home, you could feel the energy, thought and effort she put into her family life.

She was a great host and she loved to cook and have friends and family over. She would love to make new and exciting recipes. She loved to experiment and try new dishes, but her personal taste was simple and her favorite dish was French Fries.

By far, her greatest love and most significant accomplishment were her daughters Darya and Alexsandra, whom she loved with all her heart. We will all grieve the profound loss of our precious Iryna and her family and friends will carry her in their hearts forever. Our only comfort is knowing that heaven must have needed an angel.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Athanasius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 55 McMurchy Avenue, Regina, SK with Father Vasyl Tymishak Presider.
