You were the funniness grampa ever i hope you rest good and we all miss you

I had the honor and pleasure of working with Grant in Moose Jaw. He was definitely a dear work friend who never forgot you or your times together, no matter how long it had been since you'd seen one another. We laughed. And he was a stinker who liked to play funny and friendly jokes on you. He was kind, caring and generous fellow who would do anything for anyone. I remember having many heartfelt conversations with him during hard times in our lives, and in the end we would be laughing so hard it was hard to tell whether we were crying from our hardships or our terrible but hilarious jokes. I send my deepest and heartfelt condolences to his family. I did have the pleasure of meeting both Brendan and Marissa when they were quite young - they would sometimes come to Moose Jaw if dad was working overtime. Our kids were the same ages...Wonderful kids. He was so proud of his family and wasn't shy to tell anyone. He will be dearly missed.

I worked with Grant ("ole Skinner") right from the time he arrived at Tech Services in 1997. I can't remember how we came up with the nickname, but it was an everlasting inside joke between us. We had a lot of good times together, too many to list or remember. I will really miss the sound of his voice and that laugh...oh that laugh...man, I'd love to hear it again. So sorry to Lori, kids and family to hear of his sudden departure.

My condolences to Lori and family on Grant's passing. I had the opportunity to work with Grant for the last 15 years, and I really came to appreciate his sense of humour, and his laugh.
