Marlene Florence Halapatz

Marlene Halapatz, late of Regina, SK passed away peacefully on January 23, 2021 at the age of 85 in William Booth Special Care Home.

Marlene was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Andy. She is survived by her children Laurie (Shelly), Tom (Joanne), Lana (Peter) Dizy; daughter-in-law Dawn Dolan; grandchildren Jamie and Bailey Jelinski, Julia, Jack, Charlotte Dizy; her brothers Joe, Louie, Ed, Leo, Bobby and her sister Clara; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Marlene attended Athol Murray College Notre Dame, and was a Dental Health Nurse for the City of Regina, retiring after a tragic car accident in 1974. She was later employed by Eaton’s, and was one of their top salespeople winning many awards. She was a piano teacher, a fantastic chef…and very generous with people in the community. Andy and Marlene spent their retirement winters in Honolulu and Mazatlan.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. We wish to acknowledge the staff of William Booth Care Home for the loving care they provided. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to William Booth.
