Florence Fay Feist

April 21st, 2021

The family of Fay Feist announces her peaceful passing on April 21, 2021 at 93 years of age.

She was predeceased by both her husbands James Blair and John Feist; parents Harry and Florence Walkley; her sister Iris Keller; and her brother Fred Walkley. Mom leaves to celebrate her life son Jeff (Ruth) Blair; daughter Dawn Ridgway (Kirk); grandchildren Michael (Sandy), Tim, Leslie (Kevin), Scott (Janine), Dan, Dave, and Courtney (Ryan); great-grandchildren Noah, Alyssa, Kelsie, Logan, Hudson, Owen, Emily, Rachel, Bryn, and Laken; and her sister Francis Brownlee of New Brunswick; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Fay will be remembered by her family and friends as a kind and loving lady. Throughout the years, Fay was an avid bowler, loved to dance and did not like to lose a game of cribbage or scrabble. Fay was a life member of the Pilot Butte Golden Sunset Club where she so much enjoyed weekly card games and visiting with friends as it was an integral part of her social circle. She also enjoyed travelling, camping, sports events and the biggest joy of her life was attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s activities. Family and friends will be left with many fond memories of their time they got to spend together.

Our family would like to thank Monica at Gardiner Point Care Home for the years of exceptional care and compassion that Fay received for her entire stay.

Cremation will take place. Due to the current COVID restrictions, the family will gather at a later date to lay Mom, Granny, and GG to rest.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to a charity of their choice.
